Common Neutrik Connectors – The most common used with Audio Systems
Let’s start with the Neutrik speakON cable connector. These connectors are the industry standard for amplifier and speaker connections. The NL2 and NL4 are the most common of the speakON connectors (but there are many types to choose from). Most power amplifiers and speaker cabinets are equipped with speakON chassis-type jacks. You should always verify if the speakON jack or connector is an NL2 or NL4 type, as they both look familiar but have a different number of poles. The NL2 “mates” with 4-Pole chassis connectors (if you only need 2-poles and a single speaker connection). Very reliable and easy to assemble.
